Tunnel Rock Campground

 

Due to the lightning fires started June 21,Tunnel Rock will be closing 9/1/08

Nearest alternate campground is Ackerman

Located on the northwest part of Lewiston Lake. Tunnel Rock Campground offers fishing, camping, shade and beautiful scenery. This campground is across the road from the lake, about 250 feet from the water's edge, near a popular fishing spot. Boat launching and rentals can be found 1 mile south at Pinecove boat ramp, and Pinecove Marina. The marina has fishing supplies and some food items available. About 1-1/4 miles from Fairview boat ramp, Tunnel Rock offers easy access to both Lewiston and Trinity Lake.

 

Activities: Hiking , fishing, canoeing. Visit the fish hatchery below Lewiston Dam, as well as the historic towns of Lewiston and Weaverville.

Services: Fuel, groceries, bait, and restaurants can be found 6 miles south in Lewiston.
