Tannery Gulch Campground


Tannery Gulch Campground is 11 miles north of Weaverville on Highway 3. Tannery Gulch is on the shore of Trinity Lake. Nestled in tall pines, firs and oaks, this campground has a hiking trail, amphitheater, boat ramp and swim beach. Trout, bass, and catfish can be caught along the shores of this campground.

  Activities: Hiking, fishing, swimming, gold panning, water skiing, and boating. Visit Weaverville shops, stores, museums, and the Joss House Historic Park. Also, you can go four wheeling on the back roads for spectacular scenery. Kick back next to the fire and watch the sun go down.

Services: Fuel, groceries, bait, and restaurants can be found 11 miles south in Weaverville.

Site Information: Most spurs will handle 30 foot R.V.'s, some will handle 40 ft. All sites have room for a tent and have tables and firepits
