Due to the lightning fires started June 21,Clark Springs will be closing 7/28/08

Alternate campgrounds nearby include Hayward Flat and Minersville

Clark Springs is one of the more unique campgrounds at Trinity Lake. As the name implies, a set of springs run through the campground, and those who camp in sites 8-16 will find the tiny springs running almost through their sites. With a boat ramp just below the campground (separate use fee, $6/day) and a swimming beach, Clark Springs offers excellent access to the lake. Smaller and less developed than most campgrounds, Clark Springs offers an isolated feel with the advantage of great lake access.

Number of Sites: 20

Cost per site/per night: $12

Dates of operation: April 1 (or when boat ramp is in use) to Oct. 31

Water: April 1 to Sept. 31

Site Information: Small R.V.'s only; this is basically a tent campground. All sites have room for a tent and have tables and fire pits.

Reservations: Not Available
