Bridgecamp Campground
Due to the fires, Bridge Camp will be closing 9/1/08Alternate campgrounds nearby include Tannery Gulch and MinersvilleSituated on the Stuart's Fork arm of the Trinity River, where the wilderness trail begins, Bridgecamp offers great fishing and hiking. The west end of this camp has a corral and is set up for horse camping. Bridgecamp is in the tall firs, and is perfect for families who want to be away from the hassles of everday life. Bring what you need- once you settle in here you won't want to leave.
Activities: Hiking , Fishing, Gold Panning, and ice cream at Trinity Alps Resort. Services: Bait, basics, and a restaurant can be found 2 miles down the road at Trinity Alps Resort. Fuel, groceries, museums, and Joss House State Historic Park can be found less than 20 miles away in Weaverville. Number of Sites: 11 Cost per site/per night:
