Campground
Trinity Dam, viewed from Ackerman campground. Ackerman Campground is located on the northwest bank
of Lewiston Lake, offering fishing, camping, and beautiful scenery.
This campground is on the water's edge and is a favorite of fishermen.
Boat launching and rentals can be found 1 mile south at Pinecove boat
ramp, and Pinecove Marina. The marina has fishing supplies and some
food items available. Only 1 mile from Fairview boat ramp, Ackerman
offers easy access to Trinity Lake. Some of the best fishing is within
walking distance.
Activities: Hiking , fishing, canoeing. Visit the fish hatchery below Lewiston Dam, as well as the historic towns of Lewiston and Weaverville. Services: Fuel, groceries, bait, and restaurants can be found 6 miles south in Lewiston. Number of Sites: 50 Cost per site/per night:
